Childhood obesity calls for broad actions and leadership!

Changing the obesogenic landscape around children will need broad, mulit-stakeholder actions, but such initiatives requires strong political leadership, says professor Rikard Landberg, chairman for the programme committee in 2016, in a comment to the newly released post-conference report from Uppsala Health Summit.

Professor Rikard Landberg chaired Uppsala Health Summit's programme committee 2016 and was responsible for the workshop on the need for actions in the food industry. In this podcast interview, he also reflects over the central role that science plays in order to build credible and sustainable multi-stakeholder initiatives in the food sector, and on the importance of political leadership.
